This award honors individuals, businesses and organizations in the coffee industry that have created innovative projects to expand and promote sustainability. BD Imports Sets New Kenyan Auction Record

BD Imports, a Rockford, IL based specialty coffee importer today set a new record at the Nairobi Coffee Exchange (NCE), placing one of the highest bids in the history of the NCE since its inception.
On offer was 236 Kgs of coffee grown at Oaklands Coffee Estate part of the Socfinaf group. The winning bid was placed at $954 per 50kg bag.
Rejitek Kenya Limited, a licensed dealer and BD Imports global supply chain partner ensured that he pushed the button to victory, amidst applause from a packed auction hall in Wakulima House located in down-town Nairobi.
